Now that the County has adopted the Comprehensive Land Use and Transportation Plan and Growth Policy Plan, the next step for implementation is to update the County’s ordinances to support the goals within Advance Knox. To do this, Knox County is crafting its first Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).
The first round of public meetings about the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) were held in September with an additional opportunity to review materials and provide feedback online through October 5. A summary of that input is now available at AdvanceKnox.org/UDO. Those meeting materials are still available to review, and additional comments can be submitted.
